Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Le Krib website and our tattoo, piercing, tooth gem, and laser removal services. By booking with us or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Booking and deposits

• All bookings are confirmed only after we receive a deposit (usually 500 DKK, deducted from the final price on the day of your session).
• Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, or if you no-show.
• You may reschedule once at no charge if you give us at least 48 hours' notice. Subsequent reschedules forfeit the deposit.
• If we need to cancel for any reason, your deposit is refunded in full and we'll work with you to rebook.

2. Age and ID requirements

• You must be 18 or older to receive any tattoo or piercing service from Le Krib.
• Valid government-issued photo ID is required at the appointment.
• We do not tattoo or pierce minors, even with parental consent.

3. Health and safety

• You must inform your artist of any allergies, skin conditions, medications, or health issues that could affect the session.
• Do not consume alcohol or recreational drugs in the 24 hours before your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or impaired.
• Pregnant or breastfeeding clients should consult a doctor before booking. We may decline some services in these circumstances.
• You will be asked to sign a consent form acknowledging the risks of the procedure before any work begins.

4. Pricing

• All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include Danish VAT (moms) where applicable.
• Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of quote.
• Walk-in pricing may differ from booked-appointment pricing.
• We accept cash, credit cards, and MobilePay. Bank transfers are accepted for deposits only.

5. Aftercare

• You will receive aftercare instructions on a printed card after your session, and a digital copy is available here.
• Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect the healing and appearance of your tattoo or piercing. We are not responsible for outcomes affected by improper aftercare.

6. Touch-ups

• Free touch-ups are offered within 3 months of your original session if minor fading occurs through normal healing.
• Touch-ups outside this window or due to improper aftercare are charged at our standard rate.

7. Refunds

• Tattoo, piercing, and tooth gem services are not refundable once completed, due to the personal nature of the work.
• Gift cards are non-refundable but transferable.
• Merchandise can be returned within 14 days, unworn and unwashed, for a full refund.

8. Photography and social media

• We may photograph or video your finished work (without identifying you) for use on our website, social media, and portfolios.
• If you do not wish to be photographed, please tell your artist before the session begins.

9. Liability

Tattooing and piercing carry inherent risks including (but not limited to) infection, allergic reactions, scarring, and dissatisfaction with the result. By booking with us, you acknowledge these risks. Le Krib is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your appointment or use of our website, except where liability cannot be excluded under Danish consumer law.

10. Intellectual property

Designs created by Le Krib artists remain the artistic property of the artist who designed them. Reference photos you submit must be either your own work, public domain, or used with permission. Please do not ask us to copy another tattooist's custom work.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your appointment with Le Krib will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Aarhus, Denmark.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance.
